Nelson Bogart has composed, performed and recorded as a trumpet player and guitarist internationally  in Classical, Jazz, Rock, Film, Musical Theater and Commercial idioms.He has played and/or recorded with The Brubeck Brothers Band, Dave Brubeck, Jaki Byard, Gerry Mulligan, George Russell, Mark Suozzo, Junior Vega, Angela Bofill, Gary "U.S." Bonds (produced by Bruce Springsteen), The Chiffons, Lou Christie, The Drifters, Leslie Gore, Hall and Oates, Mick Jagger, Little Anthony, Little Steven and the Disciples of Soul, Phoebe Snow, Tina Turner, The Uptown Horns, Peter Gordon and the Love of Life Orchestra, Lennie Picket and the Borneo Horns, Annie ( Broadway), The Gospel at Colonus, including cast album produced by Donald Fagin, Brooklyn Philharmonic, Fiesta De La Posada (Dave Brubeck) orchestra,  commercials for Chevrolet, Hasbro, "Transformers" cartoon and various other jingles. He wrote original music for "The Trumpet of the Swan" by E.B. White, broadcast on National Public Radio's "The Spider's Web" series and compositions for the Brubeck Brothers Band. Doug Broder

Doug Broder studied bass at Boston’s Berklee College of Music, where he was among the first group to be accepted to study electric bass performance.  He also studied electric bass with one of his primary influences, Jerry Jemmott.  Over the years Doug has appeared with, among others, Harold Melvin and the Blue Notes, Ellis Hall (Tower of Power), Joey Covington (Jefferson Airplane), Norm Nardini (Diamond Reo), Brian Hyland, Nelson Bogart, Crispin Cioe and Cracked Ice, the Hoo Doo Loungers, and blues artists Jonathan Kalb and Fausto Bozza.
